What You're Actually After.

Imagine Not Thinking
About Your Hair All Day.

No more checking your crown in every mirror. No more dreading bright light on your scalp. Every hairstyle chosen because you love it, not because it hides something.

Just feeling good about your hair again.

Woman with full, healthy natural hair looking at her phone
Your Crown Looks Fuller You can sit down without wondering if somebody behind you is staring at the top of your head.
Woman smoothing her hair back into a pulled-back style
You Can Pull Your Hair Back Again No strategic swoop. No filling in the edges. No changing your style because one side looks thinner than the other.
Woman running her fingers through wet curls on wash day
Wash Day Feels Normal Again Less hair wrapped around your fingers. Less staring at the sink. Less anxiety every time you detangle.
Woman reviewing before and after hair progress photos on a tablet
You Can Actually See Progress Your part looks better. Your coverage improves. Your photos start telling a different story.

That's the outcome we're working toward. Not simply giving your hair loss a name, but helping you change what you're seeing.

Crown Coverage Returning

14 weeks · scalp therapy plus lab-guided support

Hiding the crown had become part of her routine. Bringing the inflammation down first allowed the still-active follicles to begin filling the area again.

Edges Filling Back In

10 weeks · edge recovery protocol

After years of tight installs the hairline was sparse. At 200x we could see the follicles were still viable, which meant the work was easing tension and restoring the scalp.

The patches developed rapidly while she was under stress, which is how this loss often shows up. Handling her stress load, scalp inflammation and nutrient gaps together, the bare spots began closing in from the edges.

Start With What You See.

Which One Have
You Been Noticing?

Most women don't walk in saying, "I think I have androgenetic alopecia." They say things like this.

Why a standard dermatology visit stops at the scalp.

The Problem Was Never Just On Your Head.

Dermatology works on the skin of the scalp. Trichology widens the lens to the strand, the follicle, hormones, nutrition, stress load and your hair history, so Dr. Nina can check every layer a topical misses.

You weren't treating it wrong. You were treating the wrong layer.

Same Thinning. Six Different Causes We Check.

Lack of vitamins Iron, ferritin, zinc and B vitamins. Your follicles are picky eaters, and "normal" on a lab sheet isn't always normal for hair. We read the real levels.
Stress Stress pushes follicles into early shedding and slows regrowth for months. We read the pattern and help your scalp find the calm it needs to grow again.
Unhealthy habits Sleep, water, how tight you pull your hair and how often you touch it. Small habits quietly add up, so we connect the dots before your routine works against you.
Hormone imbalance Thyroid, estrogen and androgens quietly steer the growth cycle. When they shift, the crown and hairline are often the first place it shows.
Medication side effect Some prescriptions list hair loss so far down the side effects that nobody connects it. We review what you're taking so we know whether it's a factor.
Autoimmune When your immune system turns on your follicles, loss can come in patches or spread fast. We catch the pattern early so more hair stays protected.

Before we talk treatment, we find out why. And you see it for yourself.

You Weren't Treating It Wrong. You Were Treating The Wrong Layer.

You Tried Reasonable Things Biotin. A better shampoo. Oils, scalp massage, cutting back on heat, three months of a serum a friend recommended. Every one of those is a sensible thing to try when nobody has told you what you are dealing with.
They Were Aimed At The Surface Most of what is sold for hair works on the strand or the surface of the scalp. If what is happening sits at the follicle, or in thyroid function, iron status, hormones, or a medication, surface care cannot reach it. The effort was real. The layer was wrong.
You Are Not Behind Coming in after years of trying things is normal, and it is most of who we see. Nothing you did disqualifies you, and nobody here comments on it.

Trichologist Vs. Dermatologist

Both Work With Hair. The Visits Are Built Differently.

A dermatologist is a physician trained across skin, hair, and nails. That broad medical scope matters when a condition calls for prescription medicine, a biopsy, or another medical procedure.

A certified trichologist concentrates on hair and scalp every day. The appointment gives more time to the strand, the follicle at 200x, your hair history, and the internal patterns that may be affecting growth.

What The Difference Means For You

A wider set of clues. A plan shaped by what your read shows.

  • Your scalp is magnified live at 200x, so follicle openings, buildup, inflammation, miniaturization, and density patterns can be examined closely.
  • The scalp findings are considered alongside hormones, nutrient status, stress load, medication history, and other whole-body clues.
  • When the findings support them, in-house options may include PRP, growth factors, microneedling, red light, scalp therapies, IV nutrients, and custom supplement protocols.
  • Progress is photographed from the same positions and reviewed over time, so adjustments are based on what is changing rather than memory alone.

Because the plan is not restricted to an insurance formulary, selections are guided by your findings and handled in-house.

If you searched for a “hair doctor in Atlanta,” you may be looking for this kind of focused evaluation. Your visit is performed by a certified trichologist under the clinical direction of Dr. Nina Ross, ND.

What Happens

What Happens
In The Room

You leave this visit knowing what is happening on your scalp and why. Here is how the time is spent.

01 One-On-One, No Rush 30 minutes with a certified trichologist who is looking at your hair and asking about your history, rather than reading a chart at you.
02 Your Scalp At 200x, On Screen Magnified live while you watch, so you see the same image the trichologist sees, in the areas that worry you most.
03 The Systems Context The internal picture is looked at alongside the scalp, so the read is not limited to the surface.
04 Your Report, The Next Day Written, with your images and what was found. It is yours whether or not you decide to treat with us.

Information Gain

What 200x Reveals That A Naked-Eye Exam Cannot

Whether follicular openings are still present. This is the single finding that separates a condition where hair can return from a scarring process where the follicle has been replaced. The naked eye sees smooth skin in both cases.
How many hairs are coming out of each opening. Healthy scalps commonly show groupings of two or three. Watching those groupings drop toward single hairs is early loss, visible long before a part looks wider in the mirror.
Miniaturization, meaning a mix of thick and noticeably thinner hairs in the same small field. Uniform caliber and mixed caliber look identical from arm's length and point to different causes.
Broken hairs and their shape. Short hairs that taper toward the scalp read differently from hairs that snapped flat mid-shaft, and that difference changes the plan.
Perifollicular findings: redness or scaling in a ring around the opening, yellow dots, black dots, and pigment changes between the follicles. These are the details that separate one scalp condition from another.
A fixed reference. Images are taken from the same positions each visit, so at review your scalp is compared against your own baseline rather than against a memory.

Honest Answers
Before You Commit

If your question isn't here, call us and ask. You will talk to a real person.

What are Dr. Nina Ross's credentials?

Dr. Nina Ross holds an ND and is a Double Board Certified Trichologist with a PhD in Functional Drugless Medicine. She is the Founder and Clinical Director here. Evaluations and hands-on treatments are performed by certified trichologists under her clinical direction.

What is the difference between a trichologist and a dermatologist?

A dermatologist is a physician who treats skin, hair, and nails across a very wide range of conditions, including things that need prescription medicine or surgery. A certified trichologist specializes narrowly in hair and scalp, and spends the visit reading the strand, the follicle under magnification, and the patterns behind both. Many of our clients see both, and the two kinds of care sit alongside each other.

Who is actually in the room for my evaluation?

A certified trichologist, one-on-one, for 30 minutes. Dr. Nina Ross, ND oversees the protocols as Clinical Director. Everything from the read through treatment is handled in-house, so you are not sent elsewhere to piece your care together.

What does the first visit include?

The $99 Hair & Body Discovery includes a one-on-one scalp health session with a certified trichologist, a 200x magnification read of your scalp shown on screen while you watch, and your written Hair & Body Discovery Report delivered the next day. There is no prep and nothing needs to come down first.

How do I stop the loop of appointments that go nowhere?

Start with a visit whose entire purpose is a read rather than a prescription. When you leave with your scalp photographed at 200x, the systems context, and a written report the next day, the next decision is based on findings instead of guesswork. We are at 8735 Dunwoody Place, Suite 290, Sandy Springs, GA 30350.

One Visit That Is Built Around Looking

Before you book another appointment that goes nowhere, spend 30 minutes with someone whose whole job is reading hair. You will see your scalp at 200x yourself and your report arrives the next day. Serving all of Metro Atlanta.
