Concentrated botanical growth factors, for follicles that are still producing.
Clinically reviewed by Dr. Nina Ross, NDServing all of Metro Atlanta
Growth factor therapy uses growth factors made from concentrated botanical extracts, applied to the scalp where the follicle sits.
The aim is to support follicles that are thinning but still producing hair, most often in pattern thinning at the crown, part and temples, and in shedding that has not settled.
Because the growth factors are plant-derived, there is no blood draw, which makes it a fit for people who are not candidates for PRP or would rather avoid one. It does nothing for follicles that have scarred or stopped producing. At Nina Ross Atlanta in Sandy Springs, serving all of Metro Atlanta, candidacy follows what your scalp shows at 200x magnification and what your systems review indicates. Certified trichologists perform every hands-on treatment and Dr. Nina Ross, ND oversees protocols as Clinical Director.
What it does for you
The growth factors come from concentrated botanical extracts, so nothing is drawn from you. That matters if you are not a candidate for PRP, or would rather avoid needles in the arm.
It is aimed at follicles producing finer, shorter hair, the stage where support can still make a difference.
It can sit alongside other scalp work in your plan, such as microneedling or red light therapy, when your findings call for it.
Concentrated botanical growth factors are applied to the mapped areas of the scalp. They support living follicles, do nothing for follicles that are gone, and we tell you which is which.
How it works
Your magnified images set the map: which zones are still producing, which get treated, and which are left alone.
The scalp is cleansed so the treatment reaches the follicle instead of sitting on buildup.
The concentrate is applied across the mapped areas by a certified trichologist. You can ask us to pause at any point.
You leave with plain aftercare covering washing, styling and heat, written for your hair.
Certified trichologists perform all hands-on treatments. Dr. Nina Ross, ND oversees the protocols as Clinical Director. Everything is handled in-house.
What we see that others miss
All three work by getting growth signals to the follicle. What differs is where those signals come from, so the choice follows your findings.
PRP uses growth factors from your own blood, which means a blood draw. Growth factors therapy uses growth factors made from concentrated botanical extracts, with no blood draw. Exosome therapy uses concentrated signals delivered to follicles that have gone quiet.
What decides it: how far miniaturization has gone at 200x, how you responded to anything you tried before, whether a blood draw suits you, and cost. We walk through that with you on screen, and if the read says none of them fit, we say so.
What to expect
Candidacy is decided from your Hair & Body Discovery. Your scalp is read at 200x on screen while you watch, and your report follows the next day.
Standardized images are captured from set positions so every later review compares against the same starting point.
The scalp is mapped and prepared, then the botanical growth factors are applied across the mapped areas by a certified trichologist.
Aftercare is written for your hair and your wash day.
Where more than one session is indicated, you get the intended number and spacing in writing before you start.
New magnified images from the same positions are compared against your baseline, and what they show decides whether we continue, adjust or stop.
What is realistic
Growth signals work through the hair cycle, so nothing visible happens in the first weeks.
The usual pattern is that shedding settles first, then hair coming through reads thicker under magnification before anything is obvious in the mirror.
How much changes depends on how many follicles are still producing when you start. Where follicles have scarred, that area does not regrow, and we tell you before you begin.
Results not typical. Individual results will vary.
Ideal for
Predictable pattern, variable speed. The earlier you read it, the more you keep.
The widening part and the thinner ponytail, explained honestly.
The hormone behind pattern thinning, and how to tell if it is your driver.
Smooth, round patches that appear quickly. The follicle usually survives.
Honest screening
Scarred areas where the follicle openings are gone. Growth signals need a living follicle.
An active scalp infection or a severely irritated scalp. That needs calming first.
Anyone whose loss is driven mainly by something internal that has not been addressed. That comes first, and we handle it in-house.
Anyone with a known sensitivity to botanical ingredients. Tell us at your visit.
Anyone who has not yet had their scalp read. Candidacy comes from findings.
Safe for textured hair
The treatment map is drawn from your own magnified images, because tension loss at the edges and a hormonal pattern at the crown can sit on the same head and need different care.
Aftercare is written for wash days that may be weekly, for oils and butters, wraps and bonnets. We plan sessions around protective styles. Relaxers, braids, locs, weaves and heat. Share your full history. It is welcomed, never judged.
One visit. Real answers.

Questions, answered
PRP uses growth factors from your own blood, so it needs a blood draw. Our growth factors therapy uses growth factors made from concentrated botanical extracts, so there is no blood draw. Which one fits depends on what your scalp shows.
No. The growth factors are plant-derived, so nothing is drawn from you.
We photograph the same points at 200x before you start and at each review, so you see what is actually changing against your own baseline. Results not typical. Individual results will vary.
That depends on your findings and how your scalp responds. If a series is indicated, you get the number and spacing in writing first.
Not the scarred center, because those follicles are gone. Where the border still has living follicles, growth signals may be part of protecting them.
You are not committing to a treatment today. The first step is seeing which follicles are still producing and leaving with that in writing. Serving all of Metro Atlanta.
